Kevin Sharkey - posted 16 April, 2008
Kevin’s daughter is trying to locate any information about her late Father’s Speedway driving days in Brisbane in the 60’s and early 70’s.
She remembers the smell of the fuel and the taste of the mud every Saturday night as a very small child and the excitement of seeing newspaper clippings of his victories. She would love to be able to document some of these memories for his Grand Daughter. Kevin Sharkey worked and drove for Blair Shepherd (Performance Cars, Windsor). His daughter has vague recollections of one of the cars he drove being green, as she used to refer to it as Dino (the Dinosaur). Any help would be most sincerely appreciated. Email Linda at mail@lindamaynard.com
